The Design Process

The design process starts with an agreed Site Plan.  Essential to this, are the relevant ‘funnels’ which enable your visitors to quickly and easily reach their particular points of interest and convert to customers.

The next phase will be the creation of a unique Concept Draft, which will depict the visual ‘look and feel’ of the website and will show the colour scheme and graphics that will be used.  This will be based on any creative guidelines and supporting materials you may have supplied and modifications may be made, based on your feedback.

Once you are entirely happy with your Concept Draft, your website will be built and tested by our technical staff.  We will ensure that you are entirely happy with every aspect of your Internet Solution and trained in its administration.

Content  

Once built, the site is ready for populating with your content and this is where the hard work begins for the site owner!  

It is vital that the content is structured to suit the needs of visitors from your target market.  Too often, content is compiled only from the perspective of the business owner.

• Does the content include all the information needed by site visitors?

• Is it optimised for the search terms actually used by prospective customers?

The search engines will not rank the page very highly (if at all) if the content is not relevant to the keywords used in the text and titles.

In ranking terms, ‘content is king’ and it doesn’t matter how much time and effort is spent on the design if the content is not constructed properly and primarily for the visitor, not just the search engines.  At the end of the day, the search engines want the searcher to find exactly what he is looking for. 

Unless your website is information-rich, it will not work for you.

Once the content is completed, the site needs to be checked for errors and tested to ensure that everything works as it should.  Then you’re ready for launch.

Launching a site is not the end of the process: this stage is akin to opening the doors of your new shop.

The site must now be monitored and its performance measured through the use of Analytics.
